Historical: Black-Figure Neck-Amphora

Historical

Crafted circa 500 BCE by the Attic Greek vase-painter known as the Berlin Painter, this amphora depicts two scenes on its sides, framed by finely detailed key patterns unique to the Berlin Painter and his students.

Side A: With Athena looking on, Herakles wrestles the Nemean lion. Iolaos, his nephew, is standing to the side with Herakles’ wooden club.

  • Athena and Iolaos to the side
  • Herakles first labour, the Nemean lion

Side B: Dionysus, god of wine, fertility and festivity, holds a thiasos together with satyrs and maenads, his most devoted followers.

  • Maenad and Satyr
  • Dionysus

Hello there!

My name is Florian and I run this site, showing an overview of both recent works and projects I worked on in the past.

Keeping up-to-date with most recent developments in the world of CGI and the work behind it, I strive to create high-end visuals for education, entertainment and any visualisation need, with tools such as Blender and the Substance suite.

I am available as a Freelancer or for project-based work.

Apart from that, you are always welcome to reach out for anything you have on your mind.
